Caring for Your Moissanite

Moissanite is one of the hardest gemstones on earth, scoring 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale. While it's incredibly durable and resistant to scratching, proper care will ensure your piece maintains its brilliant fire and lustre for years to come.

Daily Cleaning

Gently clean your moissanite with warm soapy water and a soft-bristle toothbrush. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a lint-free cloth. This removes everyday oils and residue that can dull the sparkle.

Deep Cleaning

For a deeper clean, soak your jewellery in warm water with mild dish soap for 20–30 minutes. Gently brush around the stone and setting, then rinse and dry completely.

Storage

Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or lined jewellery box to prevent scratching. Avoid tossing multiple pieces together, especially with softer metals or gemstones.
